First snow of season.

We got our first miserable, whoops, I mean first measurable snow of the season today. About two inches out on the car this morning, most of what fell on the lawn and street didn't take.  It was a wet, heavy mix that put the kibosh on most of the plantings. Have to do some yard work this weekend.

I am now hopeful for a nice long Indian summer. (Till next spring.)

"Miserable' was the right word.  Snow is one of the major reasons Bill is no longer in NJ; that and 30 degree temps.

Would that be Lake Erie or and inland variety?

The Lakefront here has been fierce lately, 6-8 ft waves, much wind and downright cold.

It rained the first time in 2 months 3 days ago in my part of Southern California....it was 70 F today burrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! nice and chilly. I had to shovel through the air just to get to my car today.

That's pretty funny, shovel the air.

We went from the 70's last week to about 38 today. So far we've had some rain, rain mixed with snow, sleet, and some snow.

Oh yeah baby, I love Michiana.
