thinking about building

Hey guys! Great job on the new digs! Love it!
Im thinking about building a new machine (or more so, upgrading) from what I have now.
I'm thinking of getting an AMD 64bit AM2 3800+ (or something mabye a little better. Depends on funds, which right now can afford just that.)
I'd use my soundcard, hard drives, monitor and CD/DVD burners I allready have. I'd also get gig of DDR2.
I'd also get an nVidia videocard of some sort, mabye a 7600 of some sort.
It's intensive purposes would be to play C&C 3: Tiberium Wars.
Sound good?
Best regards,
Travis.

Sounds good. Are you wanting the AMD 3800 X2 or just the single core AMD 3800? There is only about $35 difference between the single and double core AMD 3800s. It would be more money, but you might give the Intel Core 2 duo chips a look.

I also do not know if I'll be able to get a video card for quite some time as of im limited in funds and have to buy a new back for my LCD screen of my laptop (its cracked where the hinges are, and if it snaps off then....well...yeah)
I was thinking at least a 7600GS though (eww, GS)
