I noticed today that we have probably the oldest poaster registered on this forum - http://www.poasters.com/index.php?action=profile;u=2870

Buff; Ace is probably older.

Ace

I beg your pardon...?!

Ace; I don't get British humour.
Ring bells for service.

Bill

You really don't have to beg to get a pardon.  After all, Nixon did and he didn't beg.

Not to defend the forum jester, but i seriously doubt Ace witnessed the civil war as a kid and now at the ripe and pruned ol' age of 150+ plays Neverwinter Nights on his Pc.  If ace somehow proved his existence in the civil war era... i would think it more probable that ace owns a time machine
in which he used to travel back in time to aquire a certain "wine" vintage.

halokid: or perhaps ace just wanted to buy a massively drunk amount of wine at 10 cents a bottle :)

Buffalo2102

Well, I refer you to the Wikipedia definition for Jester which states......

QuoteA jester, joker, jokester, fool, wit-cracker, prankster, or buffoon is a member of a profession that came into popularity in the Middle Ages.

That makes Ace at least 500 years old.

Buff; I'm not too sure about the popularity bit though....

Ace

You know what they say; a Jester is never appreciated in his homeland.  Or neighborhood, for that matter.

I'm definiitely older than Scuzzy.  He may have been here longer, but I think I've been here taller.

I like Halo's notion of my having been a Civil War veteran.  I haven't been in NeverWinter for years, at least if you're not including Michiana which is AlwaysWinter.  I'm still only halfway through Oblivion, which I sorta quit on for awhile.  I did finish COD World At War (Woot).  I made my own Michiana team in Madden, which I'm now playing in the playoffs.

I think if I had been in the Civil War I probably would've been picked off by my own troops like Stonewall Jackson.  I don't know about 10 cents a bottle wine, but I could go back to our honeymoon days and pick up some cheap jugs of Carlo Rossi wine.

Ace; if I had a time machine I'd probably go back for gas.  Or hair.
