this is a followup to my post from 18-Jan-03. Omnibook bought at auction with no O/S, Floppy, or C/D.  After unsuccessfully trying to load OS by moving HDD to different laptop, it is now back in the omnibook. I have purch'd an internal CD drive (bootable). Need some guidance as to how to proceed to install w98. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your Windows98 CD is bootable (i.e., a full version, not an upgrade), you can boot the system from it.  However, you must first partition and format the hard drive - you will need a 98 boot floppy for that (or download the image of one  from www.bootdisk.com).
