What is better for overclockin? I have tryed both ways and i cant seem to find a difference even tho when i over clocked with FSB it did seem to be cooler.  But what do you guys think?

Unless the CPU is slow (under 1 GHz) it's unlikely to make much of a difference either way - all CPUs these days are so fast that they're not the bottlenecks in the system, so pushing the speed makes very little difference.

You'll actually only achieve a marginal increase- For example the Athlon XP 2500+ model runs at approx 1.88GHz, and overclocking it to it's maximum safe range (2800+) puts you at a respectable 1.94 (approx) so you can see that the increase is only minor. Negligible, really.

Actually, making a 2500+ like a 2800+ would make the clock speed 2.08, as all other factors between the two processors are identicle. 1.94 is the Barton 2600+ I believe. I've heard of people overclocking their 2500+ to 3200+ or higher with extensive cooling systems, but under normal conditions, the bump to a 2800+ would be safer. Sometimes a few FPS can mean life or death in a first person shooter. If you overclock both your CPU and video card, you'll get even more gains. But keep in mind that those parts probably won't last as long.

I think increacing the FSB over multipliers would work better as it actually increaces memory bandwidth, if your memory can handle it, as well as speeding up the processor itself. Multipliers just change the speed of the processor. Although an unproven theory, I'm sticking to it
