Yes, Sting, formerly with The Police...although that was a very long time ago.  I've been a fan since I was 16...also a very long time ago!  He's mellowed quite a bit, but he's still an excellent performer and my favorite.

I like the Rush pic you have there.  I saw them in concert a long time ago too.  1981 I think it was, The Moving Pictures tour.

I used to date a guy whose family owned a stage lighting company, so we used to get into all the concerts and backstage a lot too.  He eventually joined up with Van Halen and toured with them as a lighting tech for quite a few years.  Not sure what's he's up to now.  It's been years since we've been in touch.  

A lot of fun times and good memories though!

Both Rush (July 30) and Sting (Sept 9) will be here soon in our new amphitheatre.  No plans on seeing Rush and the only Sting tickets left were for the lawn.  Oh well, I'll catch him next time.
