I was able to buy those things for around 55bucks several months ago(good deals at the time).  The not so good deals though were better than what there is now.  What is going on with this case?

The availability and pricing of a particular model can vary with time across the globe.

Right now, it seems to be available from several vendors in the USA for about $60 to $65. You might have a look at Directron, mwave, monarch computer, or buy.com. All good vendors.

I paid $55 with shipping.  You ad 15-18 bucks shipping from these places and that puts the price up to 75 or more.

Considering it includes a very good 350 watt smart power supply, I think the case is a great deal for anything less than $90. I got mine for $65 with free shipping on newegg over a year ago, and it is great. The only things I do not like about the case is you have to open it from the top to open the side, the lower hard drives are difficult to screw in on the right side, and putting in ATX mobos can be tight. Also, I bought mine right before they put the ATX2.0 PSU in, so I got the 20 pin, though it works with my 24 pin mobo. I have yet to see a case/power supply combo as good for the money.
