very bad email problem

A few in every ten of my emails are reported by the recipients to come out not as text, but as random numbers and letters. I have AOL mail and it crashes occasionaly, but often I send an email without trouble and it still comes out as gibberish. Any ideas on what the heck is wrong?

First of all, you should scan your computer with an updated antivirus program.  If that doesn't find anything, use a program called AdAware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) to check your system for AdWare/Spyware.

Thank you for the reply, also, I forgot to add that I have sent email from two different computers recently and both have sent weird messed up messages, so it's not just one of them...I will look into adware and virus protection though, thanks!
