I am considering buying a Dell used computer for $130 and was wondering if anyone has an opinion as to whether it is a good price if the computer is in good condition. It is a Dell Dimension 2400 with the following specs:

- Pentium 4 Processor (CPU) 2.4GHz
- 512MB RAM Memory (upgradable to 2GB) Type: DDR-3200 (400MHz)
- 80GB IDE hard drive
- 4 USB ports in back, 2 USB ports in front, all are fast USB 2.0
- DVD-RW (optical) drive (by LG)
- CD-RW (optical) drive
- Dell Optical Mouse
- Dell 101/102 Key Standard Keyboard

Thanks for fast input bec I'm to go look at it tomorrow am.

To give a quick answer, I'd be hard pressed to pay more than $80 for the system. $100 tops, if it comes with WinXP. However, additional software such as MS Office would make it an acceptable deal at the asking price.

Thanks Scuzzy,

I went through a CNET review of owners and several said it has no AGP slot. Also, he changed (baited and switched) his price to $150. I think I will pass.
