Hi Wayne

Try this:control panel-display-settings-advanced(0n bottom)-displays-check television

UNCHECK LCD PANEL-apply

Make sure tv is on video & all wire connections ar made while laptop is off

Let me know if that works

Hi Rick

I have the same problem as Wayne and would like to try your fix, however I remember reading somewhere that if I turn off the LCD and something goes wrong I'll have no display to work with in order to get back to square one. Any thoughts on this? Can't I have both displays activated??

Hi,

I'm trying to get my display on the TV.  I've got an S-video-to-RCA adapter, enabled TV out, and when I boot up, there it is on my television.  However, when the Windows 98 startup screen concludes, the display reverts to my laptop only.  I've tried the FN-F5 toggle and nothing happens.  What am I missing?  Is it a Windows driver issue or what?  Any help would be appreciated.
