Bah. Humbug.  Phooey, and more fooey.  Dangit all.

White stuff is up to Fido's chest but is he smart enough to stay in?  Of course not.  20" in places...car in a protected area of driveway with 3' drift against the driver side door.
Geez,  thunder and lighting over night, and it's still coming down.

Bill; come on Spring.

Here in the Frozen Arctic Tundra Wasteland Glacial WinterWorld of Michiana

we had about an inch and a half this morning.  It's melted down, pretty much.  Just a dusting of ground cover, and pavement is clear except for some patches on my sidewalk.

We're in the Snow Belt.  Where Pat's Lake Effect Blizzards inundate the populace with its their his icy breath.

Ace; Snow belt.  Heh.  Unlike the Bawmy Beaches of Joisey and the Southern City of Washington.  Very unlike.

Sometime around 10:00am I shoveled  shovelled, whatever, a path for Fido. Now at 12:30 there's 2" more in the path I cleared.
Oh, please stop.

Dang wind has started to pick up intensity - frozen artic tundra of the Joisey beachs and highways and woods and valley and every other dang thing around here. Dangit.

Bill; even me.

Personally, I'd recommend a hearty breakfast of Pancakes and Sausage and Coffee.  Lots and lots.  Then go out there and lift and throw and shovel.  You'll be amazed at how light your head feels, and how the snow melts right away once you step back inside.

ERs are pretty warm and comfy, too.

Ace; it's sorta chilly during the EKG, though.

Thanks for the recommendation.  Been there, done that.  Waitin' for the plow; probably tomorrow.  Good thing I don't have anywhere to go.

Bill; lunch now, more of the same.

Yeah, well, all I can say is better there than here.
huh?

It really has been a mild time of it here a bouts. Last month was more like March than January. Not that I?m complaining mind you. There has been virtually no ice on the big lake at all this year, kind of freaky. May be there?s something to all this global warming after all.

Or just a warm winter. Check out the forecast for next year.

Brown and darker shades of brown mean chances of warmer than average.
Shades of blue mean the opposite, no color means chances are equal for above or below average temperatures.

I?ve been following the maps for a couple of years now and they tend to be pretty close. They do tend to change over time though. New maps are released once a month.
Check this page for updates.

Ok, I gotta say I'm almost as happy to see Ja's avatar as Buff's.  You guys do good artwork.  I'm still stuck with the photo of Neon in William Shatner's hat.

I gotta update my photo blog.  There's no snow here now, so can't do a photo of that.  I could shoot Murphy's, but he doesn't have any inflatable yard toys up or anything interesting.  I'd try a Squirrel, but I don't have a wide angle and I'm out of film in the Canon anyway.

Ace; maybe Brad could convince Angelina to adopt that blonde...

Not sure anyone cares where it went, as long as it's gone.
