So, has anyone tried it yet?

Downloaded and installed a copy yesterday and don't really have too many comments yet. Pages load fast and it seems to be a small and light program, but not so many options to configure.

My first impression is that I have yet to see anything to make me want to switch from Firefox.

I just downloaded and am using it now. It's different, that's for sure.

I'm also trying out IE8 Beta, which is an improvement over IE7.

I'll likely stay with Firefox 3, at least until IE8 and Chrome mature. Even then, I'll probably still want to stay with Firefox.

I haven't tried the new IE yet.

The more I use this chrome the more I like it as a browser. Don't really like the default start up option though. Would rather not have all my recent pages displayed or latest book marks. I'm guessing by the time this is at version 1 they'll have more options to choose from.

I didn't care for the default startup, either. I think I'll wait for it to mature some and then take another look. For now, I uninstalled it.

I also had to uninstall IE8, although I didn't exactly have a problem with it. In Firefox, I use IE Tab for some of my bookmarks. Unfortunately, I was having some incompatibilities with IE Tab and IE8.

I think I'll keep using Firefox 3 for the long run, even though it often forgets that I already installed Adobe Flash.

I finally decided to give this a whirl.  It's certainly fast, like Opera, and compatibility seems spot on unlike Opera, but in some ways I find it too limiting compared to Firefox.  Internet Explorer 7 isn't even a contender.

It's better than Safari for Windows though, which I found pretty unusable compared to Firefox and Opera.  Maybe it's improved recently.

I tried it for awhile, but quickly lost interest in it. It did seem fast, but I'm hooked on Firefox 3.

I tried Safari several times and I did like some of its features. But in the end I had more incompatibility problems than it was worth.

As for Internet Explorer, I use it only when I don't have a choice.

Firefox 3 is my favorite, but I also use IE7.

Mark H; at least there is a choice of browsers now
