Acer 505DX Case removal

Good evening,

I have an Acer Travelmate 505DX notebook.

The AC power input jack has broken off its soldering and fallen inside the case, I can fix this, however I cannot seem to get the case (shell) I have undone about 10 screws on the underneath and it comes open slightly, but no more. I cannot seem to find how to do this anywhere. Would any of you great ppl, kno how to take the case off, or know any sites etc to point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated.
