USB 1.1 OR 2.0

Hi-- I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 --How do I find out if  my USB port is 1.1 or 2.0??

The ports are USB 1.1.

Dell started shipping USB 2.0 after the 8200 was built - with the D-chassis 8500/8600 and budget-chassis 1100 and 5100 systems.

How can I use products that  that are USB 2.0 spec. like
Apple I Pod ???

Correct me if i'm wrong,  but i'm pretty sure that 2.0 will work on 1.1, it will just run at the slower speed.

Most devices will - though some may have trouble.  I would think an iPod would work fine - plently of G3 Macs out there have only USB 1.1.
