Help! My windows media player won't work.

I can't get my windows media player 9 to work.  I don't know what happened.  It just quit working.  Can anyone help me.

Quit working in what way?

Does it fail to start, or fail to play any content?

Does Windows display any error messages?

It won't start.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Usually when a program fails to start, Windows will issue an error message explaining the cause.  Does anything appear?

Have you scanned your system for viruses and other malware recently?

Just did a scan with adaware, spybot, have spyware blaster, and did a norton and all is clear.  Nothing pops up on the screen.

I just went and reinstalled it.  Don't know what happened??? But it works now.
