The August 2009 issue of PC World gave G Data InternetSecurity the number one spot in its most recent antivirus software showdown.

I checked their site and found a link to a free download for G Data InternetSecurity 2010 Beta for Windows 7 Beta. The license is valid until 10/22/2009, which I believe is the date that Windows 7 goes gold.

I downloaded and installed the software on my Windows 7 64-bit installation. It went smooth and I am so far liking what I am seeing. It has a nice menu that is well thought out.

Pricing is great. $30 for a 1 year license for 1 user, or $40 for a 1 year license for 3 users. Other software versions are also available. If you chose to buy, make sure you use up the trial period first. :)
