Firstly, his name is really Travis.

Secondly, a combination of poppers, loose parts, maybe a broken part or two (keep the processor!) and a backcat or sparkler or something ought to detonate it nicely. You could also put explosives inside the case walls that trigger upon impact (kindof movie style) so the case walls blow off.

And about that TI 486...neat. I'll bet it was that one big brand used Intel so TI was corwded out. Back then, everyone was on square one. Even Macdonalds could make a processor like that with a little work. Now, however, they've been researching for a loong time....
