Back up your system (particularly the registry), and enter Safe Mode.  Delete the offending devices from the control panel and restart normally.  The hardware should be redetected and the drivers loaded properly.

What is this, and do I need to fix it ?

This came from the System Information program under System Tools.

I am fighting small "stupid" problem with  Nascar 3 and MS Force Feedback Sidewinder Wheel that has raised it's ugly head,, Nascar 4 and Nascar 2002 seem to work fine,,,,,,, I know,, I know,,, just throw 3 away. This has turned into a quest now......

Things I have done recently:

Replaced both "origianl" CD Drives with LiteOn Drives

Bios Flash

Video card driver upgrade

Sound driver upgrade, then put original form CD  back on

connected a USB port expander, took it off, put it back on,, took it off again, devices all worked when connected to it, but was worried about IRQ sharing, or some crap I read somehwere,, I thought USB was almost "stupid-proof" and the way to go,,,,I have proven I can screw up anything....
