old computer help!!

Hi, I'm a broke college student nd I have an old computer that doesnt have an ethernet jack but have high spped internet avaliable. The computer I have is a Compaq Presario 4508

24X CD-ROM Drive, 16 BitSound Card 40w Speakers AC Adaptor
1.44 MB Floppy Drive, High Speed I/O Port 2 Serial, 1 Parralell, 1 Game Port, (16550 UART & ECP/EPP), Windows 95 104 Key Keyboard, High Resolution Mouse, 56K Fax Modem w Voice and
Microsoft Windows 95. How would I make an internet connection for my computer...its kinda slow too. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks..

Any PCI network adapter is fine - they are often free after rebates.
