Title: Canon i960
Post by: scuzzy on December 29, 2003, 19:11 hrs
Well, I now have the Canon i960. It served as a warranty replacement for the Canon S900 we used to have, which BestBuy gave up on trying to fix. I rarely buy extended warranties, but I'm glad I did this time.

I have only printed one 8x10 photo so far, and I can honestly say I was overwhelmed at how stunning the photo came out. I'm actually not sure if a photo lab could have done better. Well, maybe... under *close* scrutiny with a magnifying glass, there are hints it was done on an inkjet printer. Otherwise, the color and resolution are outstanding.

Best of all is the speed. An 8x10 spits out in just 1 minute. The printer is solidly built, utilizes USB 2.0, has 6 color tanks, and will automatically power on and off through the software.

So far, so good. It even looks nicer than the S900 it replaced.
